If you’re excited about complex narratives, unusual fantasy worlds, and more complex themes in your RPGs, I highly recommend checking it out, especially now that the game features these new improvements. Unfortunately, it released near several other big-name games, and I suspect many players may have missed the game at launch. Each character has their own, separate story, unique interactions and even quests that can be completed. Sadly, the main character can be accompanied by no more than three party members. Torment: Tides of Numenera is one of my favorite games of 2017 so far. In the game, there are six characters that can join your team. Once Torment is finally as bug free and as stable as possible the developers will move on to adding more content, which includes the stuff mentioned above. The first of these will be coming in the next couple of weeks, though the exact release date hasn't been given just yet. The later portions of the game just kind of fly by, there are a lot less companions than initially advertised, and the combat system is about as boring as it gets for an isometric RPG. While I love Torment: Tides of Numenera it is quite obvious the developers either ran out of money or time by the end of it.
